Data Engineer

At Dataminded, data engineers are at the heart of what we do. We're currently looking for Junior/Medior Data Engineers to join our team, build hands-on experience on real customer projects, and grow into the data experts of tomorrow.

Responsibilities

• Understand customer needs, maturity, and ambitions.

• Know stakeholder needs and contribute to their success.

• Architect, develop, and deploy cloud-based data applications (AWS, Azure, GCP).

• Design complex analytics solutions for large data sets on distributed systems.

• Set and direct the technology vision for data products and services.

• Provide thought leadership for customers and partners on data and analytics.

• Understand and communicate industry and functional context.

Qualifications:

• You have Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience in software development or data engineering.

• You have strong coding skills (Python, Java, Scala, Go, etc.) and are eager to deepen these.

• You have a solid understanding of cloud computing (distributed systems, networking, storage, security).

• You have strong communication and collaboration skills and you are not afraid to ask questions..

• You are passionate about cloud and data technologies and motivated to keep learning.

• Any exposure to big data technologies or tools is a plus.

• You are proficient in spoken and written English, with a willingness to learn Dutch and/or French.

3. Technical Interview (depending on the role): The goal of this phase is to assess your technical and non-technical skills, as well as your communication, problem-solving, and software engineering abilities. You'll first have an interview, and then you'll complete and present a practical technical exercise.

4. This is the final step! We'll make an official offer, answer any remaining questions you have about the process, and discuss the financials and contract details.
