As a Business Developer, your mission is to help organizations achieve their data goals with the help of consultancy, data solutions, or training. You are in charge of expanding our business, where you are also jointly responsible for strategy development.

You follow the developments and innovations within the market, which you respond to effortlessly. You like to make new contacts and expand your network. This is how you build the business.
​
You are proactive, use your network, open doors, generate leads, give presentations, prepare quotes, and conduct contract negotiations. Your specialistic colleagues are ready to support you in the sales process: data engineers, developers, marketing, account management and back office.

Responsibilities

Drawing up and executing your own business development strategy, driven by clearly formulated business needs and a market strategy;

Initiate and help organize lead generating activities for prospects and customers with marketing;

Making an inventory of customer needs and translating this into concrete solutions and well-considered advice;

Representing Data Minded at customer meetings and conferences and actively participating in relevant knowledge networks
What do we ask of you?
You are a real doer, with a talent for networking and building relationships at various levels within organizations. To make this really succeed, you have excellent communication skills and you know how to be a connecting factor. In addition, you are a real entrepreneur, which means that you take initiative in your work, but also really want to achieve something within the market.
In addition, you have:

A completed bachelor's or master's degree

Experience in a (new business) sales role within business services

Knowledge of IT and preferably data solutions

You are brimming with energy and have ideas to further expand existing services as well as to bring in new customers

You are a team player
